Iran’s short ‘Don’t Worry’ to vie in US

Iranian short ‘Don’t Worry’ is attending the Feminist Border Arts filmfest in the US.

Iranian short animation ‘Don’t Worry’ has been attending the Feminist Border Arts Film Festival in the US.

Written and directed by Mana Pakseresht, the short flick narrates the story of a teenager who is alone at home on her birthday due to self-quarantine.

Though, her mother who is a nurse and is in the hospital has a surprise for the girl.

The only character of the flick is Yalda Ramzi.

The other Iranian title competing at the US event is ‘C-19’ by Hassan Dehqanian.

The Feminist Border Arts Film Festival is a celebration of the power of cinema as innovative means to showcase the urgent and upcoming social issues.

The latest edition of the event has set off on May 08 and will run till May 10 in the New Mexico State University.
